Trip to Pangkor Island

Just got back from Pangkor Island. Really had a great time with my labmates. We went there on 8th of May 2010. Went there with three cars, Kak Nad and family, Dila's and the boys, the gurls. Gathered at Kak Nad's house around 8.30am. Dila lead the way, since she's familiar with place.

Here is a bit story of Pangkor Island. Pangkor Island is situated at the coast of perak State (Located about 90km south west of lpoh). From Lumut Jetty, it takes about 40min to reach there by ferry.







We went ther for three days and 2 nights. We stayed at Pangkor Bay view Beach Resort whihc is situated at Teluk Nipah. From the jetty, it takes about 20min by taxi . The gurls stayed at family room. Quite a big room. Budget for 2 nigt for each person is about Rm55 (Cheap rite!). The facilities is ok. There was no kettle provided, so we just used the water filter provided. On the first day arrived, not much activities we did. Just settle down bit here and there. On the eve, me and the gurls went strolling along the stall. SUrveying things to brought home. Night time.. portluck. Ate all the things that we brought that day. Menu dishes, nasi impit (me)Rendang daging kicap by nysya... (superb), fish soup and vege (kak nad) Bread pudding (me). Makes us full. Night time.. Just staying in the hotel.
